
OAs written in The Secret History of the Mongols, it is now generally accepted that the great Chinggis Khaan was born at the junction of the Onon Balj River. The assumed spot is in Dadal soum, near the town of the same name.

ITINERARY
DAY 1. Arrival to Ulaanbaatar and check in hotel.
DAY 2. City tour including visit to main Square Sukhbaatar, visits to Gandantegchilen Monastery present biggest monastery, which houses for giant standing Buddha statue, Natural history museum offers nice chance to see petrified dinosaur skeletons and nestled eggs, friendship monument on Zaisan hill, national folk performance concert with songs and contortion acts. Overnight stay in hotel.
DAY 3. Drive to Khar Zurkh Blue Lake, located in front of Zurkh mountain, is summer residence place for Chinggis Khaan and royal people, here Chinggis Khaan was married with Burte Queen - his first wife. Picnic lunch on the way. Trekking along the bank of river, hiking to Khar Zurkh mountain. Stay in tent camping.
DAY 4. Drive to Khangal lake and cross the green valley with smooth hills. Trip to Bereeven buddhist temple, where Chinggis Khaan was battling against several big tribes from Mongolian origin. Explore the temple ruins, which was built in 1784 and damaged in purge's period. Wonderful trekking in the hills and in forest. Campfire work, stay in tent camping.
DAY 5. Drive to Bider Khoshuu explore Spring rock, explore 2 Deer monuments and 12 square tombs in Batshireet village area, Uzuur Tokhio rock paintings of seals belonging to ancient tribes dated to New stone age. Trip to Rashaan Had Rock, where are numerous carvings and paintings depicting animals and human, and scripts. Drive continue to very interesting undiscovered Oglogch Stone wall, which was built by carefullyplacing pieces of stone with each other. Maybe "there is Chinggis Khaan tomb" told be people. This is very attractive and secret place for trekking around the walls. Stay overnight in ger tourist camp.
DAY 6. Chinggis Khaan’s Birthplace. Drive to Khorhunag Jibur site, where Chinggis started his friendship with Jamukha duke, also Mongolian buddhism first leader Zanabazar stayed here as summer residence. Drive to Deluun Boldog, explore the birthplace of Chinggis Khaan and memorial monument for Chinggis Khaan, Chinggis Khaan's 800 anniversary /1206-2006/ was celebrated there. Stay in tent camping.
DAY 7. Drive Bayan-Adraga village, explore Khunnu tomb dated to III B.C. There are 200 tombs in the pine tree forest. Visit to nomad's home-ger, explore nomadic lifestyle. Experience their daily activities and talking with them about their life. Try milk products from cow milk. Horseback riding 1 hour. Stay with nomadic family.
DAY 8. Drive to Omnodelger, Delgerkhaan village, nature admiring place. Drive to Khodoo Aral Site, where Mongolian Secret History was started to be written. Explore Aurag ord place, where Chinggis Khaan first capital was established. Explore the where capital was establishing there for along time. Stay in tent camping.
DAY 9. Drive to Ulaanbaatar back crossing vast steppe with green meadows. Picnic lunch on the way for soft drinks and rest. Transfer to hotel. Free time for shopping the main street shops, art shops and antique shops. Farewell dinner. Overnight in the hotel.
DAY 10. After breakfast transfer to the airport/ train station. Departure.
