Day 1. Arrival in Ulaanbaatar (28 Feb)
Met your Guide and Driver in Airport station and drive to hotel. After lunch visit to Mongolian biggest buddist complex Gandan monastery and Zaisan hill memorial. From there people can be see all Ulaanbaatar. It has dedicated to Russian Mongolian friendship and also there are small stone monuments dedicated to 1921 Mongolian Revolution, in 1939 River deposit of Japan, in 1945 Battle of Manjchuur and second world war. . Shopping time in world’s famous Mongolian cashmere Factory shop of Gobi. Dinner in Mongolian local restaurant. Overnight in hotel. (B,L,D)
EAGLE FESTIVAL(01 March,2011)
Day 2 (01 Mar) Eagle Festival Drive to Terelj
national park and watch opening ceremony and hunters parade on horse ride with
their eagles. Hunters’ displaying their hunting outfit and accessories. (B,L,D)
Hunters’ displaying to call their eagles from a cliff on their arm. Eagles will be released from a cliff to attack real animals. /wolf and fox/
Eagle released from a cliff to attack fox skins that dragged by their owner on horseback.
Kazaks’ traditional game “Kukbar” (to scramble goat skin on horseback)
Lunch in local restaurant. Competition to grasp coin on horseback. To selective “King eagle”. Closing and rewarding ceremony.
Drive back to Ulaanbaatar. Stay overnight in hotel. (B,L,D)
ICE FESTIVAL(2 March-5 March, 2011)
Day 3 (02 March) Flight to the Huvsgul
National Park
In the morning meet at the hotel. Drive to the airport for
your flight to Murun, the capital of Huvsgul province (1.5 hours). Upon arrival
in Murun, a local driver will take you to Huvsgul National Park. Enjoy hiking
by the lakeshore and overnight in the tourist camp. (B,L,D)
Day 4 (03 March) Ice Festival & Skating Marathon Day
Grand Opening Ceremony
- Shamanic ceremony
- Traditional song and dance performance.
Horse sledge racing. Traditional game Ice-shagai.
Starting of skating marathon. (first part -100km)
Continuing of the Ice-Shagai game.
Tourists’ show with Mongolian traditional cloth Deel.
Market in Ice Ger
Dinner and overnight in ger camp. (B,L,D)
Day 5 (04 March)
Continuing of Skating marathon (second part- 100km)
Competition for car
driving skill on the ice, Wrestling competition on the ice
To travel by horse sledge, horse riding
and visit nomad family.
Wagered competition of Skating marathon (2km),Skating marathon finish
Closing ceremony and fire festival Dinner and overnight in a ger camp.(B,L,D)
Day 6 (05 March) Back
to Murun and fly to Ulaanbaatar. Stay at hotel (B,L,D)
Camel festival (06 March-08 March,2011)
Day 7 (06 March) Fly to
Dalanzadgad, center of Omnogobi province.
This festival is organized by "Ten Thousand Camels" -
association in order to protect two humped Bactrian camels and reproduce camel
herders, to increase their productivity, to increase herder's income by
tourism.
Opening ceremony of “Camel festival-2010” and Camel parade.
Competition of “Best couples on camel and Camel polo game
Camel polo –Final game for Champion You can enjoy with “Camel-my friend” named exhibition. Children’s concert Dinner and overnight in Ger camp (B,L,D)
Day 8 (07 March)
Racing camels will go to start line and guests can bet for them. Torom (2 years old camel) racing, Break for lunch “Camel express” competition for herders
Rewarding and closing ceremony.

Day 9 (08 March) Transfer to local airport and flight back to
Ulaanbaatar. This day you have a great opportunity to visit World famous Gobi Mongolian cashmere shop and
factory.
