Describtion:
Hugnu Khan and Old monastery.
You can see this 1967m peak to the north of the main road. At the southern foot of the mountain are the ruins of Old Khid built in 1660 and destroyed(all monks massacred)
By the armies of Galdan boshigt, a rival of Zanabazaru
in 1640. That monastery reopened in 1992. And you can see Ibex ,wolves, and
many varieties of Hawk.
Karakorum: The former capital city of ancient
Mongolian Empire: Karakorum is completely different from what it was centuries
ago, however, if is one of the most attractive places for tourists. Chinggis
Khaan established Karakorum city in 1220. In 1235 "Tumen Amgalant"
("Ten thousand calmness*) Palace was established as a symbol of power,
grandiosity and development of the state. A son and successor of Chinggis
Khaan, Uguudei Khaan was responsible for the capital city construction and
development, thus bringing the city to the state of capital by all means.
Day1 Arrival in Ulaanbaatar. (L,D)
Your guide and driver take you in airport station and drive
to Hotel and Lunch at the
Restaurant. Traditional Mongolian cuisine. Sightseeing in Ulaanbaatar Museum
of Natural History - famous archaeological findings from Gobi related
to dinosaurs.Dinner and overnight in hotel
Day2 Ulaanbaatar – Hugnu han NP (B,L,D)
Early morning drive to Hugnu haan national park with your guide and driver.
· Walking in beautiful mountain view , landscape and Mongolian sand dunes
· Visit to Uwgun (Old) monastery.
· Met with the Nomad family
· horse and camel riding lessons and experience see the Mongolian ancient scripts on huge mountain rock
Overnight in local guest house
Day3 Hugnu han – Karakorum (B,L,D)
- Drive to Ancient capital Kharhorin city. about 80 km
- Accommodation in our own "Khangai Tours" ger camp
- Sightseeing at the Erdene Zuu Monastery (7 km away from camp), the first lamasery of Mongolia, guests can observe monks doing praying ceremonies. Continue sightseeing at the ruins of Karakorum (also spelt Kharkhorin), the once capital city of the Mongol Empire.
- Lunch in camp.
- Back at the camp guests can ride horses, try out Mongolian bows and arrows,
- After the dinner a welcoming folk concert with throat singing, unique Mongolian long songs and horse head violin play will be organized for our guests.
- Overnight in our own "Khangai" ger camp.
Day4 Day to Ulaanbaatar. (B,L,D)
· We drive back to Ulaanbaatar city After breakfast. In the midday we arrive and your guide and driver deliver you to 3* Hotel.
· Last evening you have nice program actually dinner and just like a Mongolians in the Mongolian barbeque.
· Overnight at 4*Hotel
